Child Care Provider

Mama Bear’s Learning Center in San Antonio, TX is seeking multiple Child Care Providers to join their team of professionals. We are located in Southeast San Antonio.

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and monitor children's indoor and outdoor activities.
• Preparing and assisting children with learning activities.
• Keep records of children's progress, routines and interests and relaying needed information to parents and the Program Director.
• Maintain contact with the children's parents and contact them in case of an emergency. 
• Assist in preparing food and serving meals.
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment throughout the day.
• Clean interactive areas throughout the day.
• Organize activities and develop curriculum for older children.
• Develop a schedule for the children to maintain throughout the day.

EDUCATION: 

• At minimum, high school diploma required.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum two – five (2-5) years of experience working with children preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Proven experience in this field is a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to teach constructive behavior and social skills.
• Child Development Certification (CDA) a plus.
• Ability to lift, bend and stand as required.
• Current Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED Certification a plus.
• Available Monday - Friday between 6:00 a.m. & 6:00 p.m.
• Advanced multitasking and organizational skills to manage multiple children of all ages.

Mama Bear Learning Center provides professional learning/daycare services to children ranging from ages 6 weeks to 10 years old.
